Handsome trig

Phyllopalpus pulchellus

The handsome trig is a tiny cricket with a bright red head and chest, a shiny black body and pale green legs. It is only about as long as your fingernail is wide. The female's wings are round and shiny, so she looks a bit like a little beetle.
